  1. Well, I'll have you know 1/72 is my preferred scale.........in U-boats.
  2. ...with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
  3. Jay The remainder of the cowling is also tapered - a truncated cone. HTH, D.B.
  4. Who is the brave soul to take that baby up? They'd surely need "Eier aus Stahl". Might be too valuable to fly since there are replicas that do. Can't imagine the D-13 taking to the skies either.
  5. Best interpretation of Gabreski's upper camouflage I've seen. Well done! Cheers, D.B.
  6. Repair looks good as new - replacement part, no worries. Coming along beautifully.
  7. Well done, Gary! First build of the kit I've seen, looks very sharp. Hope to see more of your builds posted with us. Cheers, D.B.
  8. No aircraft listed: https://www.tamiya.com/english/shs/shs2019/newitems.htm
  9. "I finally glued the wheel wells into place but with a twist. I glued the individual walls to each other but not to the wing." Nice solution!
  10. John Thanks for the feedback on the punch sets. Great work on the cockpit - just beautiful. D.B. PS The red primer pump knob on the floor should be yellow, if any color. yellow = fuel PPS The buttons on the control stick are usually black.....
  11. John That IP is excellent. How do you like the RP Toolz punch set? D.B.
  12. I think the point being is we want more 1/32 kits from Tamiya. I know I do, even if they are not my personal favorites.
  13. My interpretation is when seen from the bottom plan view the MK 108 ejection port will be on the left of the centerline of the a/c. When projected from the top plan view the ejection port will be to the right of the centerline - to the pilot's right. Thoughts?
  14. Hmmmm, ...... wonder what would be of interest to that particular demographic?
