New Wingleader on the Spitfire Mk IX on pre-order

and
some aviation titles from Helion if you are not familiar with this publisher, they are worth a check-out. Any conflict you can name the have a publication on it plus a good e-book range.
I have a couple of titles one on the North Coates strike wing (just a few miles up the coast from me), and a WW1 publication on the Recographers the men that guided the tanks. The text and layout and text is a bit "academic" but always very interesting.

Bob MDC got a reaction from mozart in Securing small pieces of pe
You could try epoxy putty it's self-filling and can be sanded with a fibre glass pencil, I've used this on a couple of pattern jobs.
Can be a bit slow curing but plenty time to position.

Bob MDC got a reaction from thierry laurent in THE EYE OF THE STORM! Revell Hurricane
The rockets were fitted to the later Mk RAF Hurricanes, On the Mk II's I think only the Navy and Coastal Command had first dibs on rockets for the anti-shipping work so the Sea Hurricane would ok with rockets, and as Revell has kindly included the parts for Sea Hurricane.
So as I received my Hurricane today (very nice and ok) and nearly finishing updating the MDC rockets It looks good for a spot of building

Bob MDC got a reaction from Greg W in What is your favorite thin CA adhesive? How about a reliable vendor to have fresh stock?
As I tend to use a fair amount of CA I use and industrial brand Krylex (normally have a 20gm on the workbench and a 50gm in the workshop) try to keep cool ,frig if possible.
I have mentioned this before but the standard Krylex KB014 sands just like plastic or resin making it perfect for modelling.
I use my resin supplier Neills Materials https://www.neillsmaterials.co.uk/ for all my stuff like that.
I've been dealing with Justin (Neills Materials) for just over 25 years as we both started our companies on the same day 25 years ago !!
