Chinese IP Law what is this , surely this is only mythical -
I agree with Thierry older resin or bad proportions also if you are casting in warm weather conditions that could affect it. Try post curing the castings in a warm place like the heating boiler. My two standards for casting are Axson F38 or Polytech Easyflo 60 Bob

I think I would want to see a print at $92 the prints they produce is in that semi opaque clear plastic with some axis have noted build lines, it takes a lot of work to get them right. Bob

Try these from 3M lots of grades and you can wash them out when clogged and you cut them to any shape you want. https://tools-paint.com/3m-scotch-brite-handpads-155-x-225mm-packs-of-10-15190-p.asp Bob

Does Future go bad in the bottle?

UV light is best suspect has a habit of oxidising stuff. Anything like that cool dark is the best but if you want to go OTT https://www.smooth-on.com/products/xtend-it/ We spend a fortune on stuff like this, now we used old fridges for all our stuff including super glues, pick them up in a secondhand shop run till buggered and it works !! A light brush with a glass fibre pen or soft Scotbright the a flash over with Mr Finishing Surfacer 1500. Not sure what it is but older 3D prints develop a mould on the surface, it's easy to sort it. Bob
-
Only a tube of putty "no problems"

I've found a lot of my old research material now I'm sorting the book store out so I might start my Sherman conversion. Bob

The UK price for the paint set is £6.60 per set, good value . Bob

Have you seen the price of snake oil recently Seriously everything is going up we had a 10% rise on resins, postage is in freefall one country then another rate go through the roof and used bricks are a crazy crazy price It's down to boom and bust plus the internet we have no real shortages but for some reason weird things go out of stock for a couple of days then back to normal. I think somebody posts there's a shortage of xyz in my corner shop so it's the end of the world and xyz has a run on it The power of the internet 99% good 1% not so good Bob

Mr Primer Surfacer 1500 in grey, black and white is the best I have used this product since it first landed and all our commercial work is treated with this before casting. I use it straight from the can in fine mists and it saves me so much trouble as a larger proportion of our work is 3D the 1500 helps us with any build lines we see. Bob

The problem about figure size has been with us for as long as I can remember 54mm or 1/32 scale should have been the same size but the 54's were always a bit taller, then when I came into contact with the wargamers when I worked for the "evil empire" the figures were 28mm but not from head, but from the eyes to the ground then we had standard proportions then heroic proportions (big guys). Now that sets the scene, !! enter digital sculpting so as there is no standards to work to and lack of any guidelines to work to so all scales and "mission creep" some figures are getting a lot bigger the current size of a wargaming figure is 32mm so the spectrum of sizes is understandable with various sculptors working in different styles and end users. At present MDC/Zealot offers a service for re-sizing miniatures we have developed digital and mechanical methods depending on the final scale of the part. Bob

I tend to try and get shanked micro drills a lot easier to use jewelry suppliers are good and not bad prices. Bob

Really it's a case of "never say never" we dropped a lot of the low sellers off, but if the demand is there and we have the time really anything is possible. Bob

There is the option to go die-cast as a few "toy soldier" companies (Forces of Valour and King and Country ) as the models are all pre-painted, but the scale is 54mm or 1/32 https://picclick.com/german-wwii-opel-blitz-1-32-diecast-metal-model-111791549448.html this stuff is not cheap but is 1/32. Check out 54mm vehicles on evilbay you might be surprised Bob
