I know Eduard didn’t enhance on the crappy photo-etch in this kit, did any of model vendor produce replacement etch for this kit? In particular I’d like to find a set for the flaps.

I can’t find it now either, maybe I was wishful dreaming. I swore I read somewhere it was announced.

I’ve never heard the walnut story but belong to a forum where I can get the answers, we never wanted to put FOD in the engines so I can’t see it being true. I was trained by an ex-104 driver, he had some interesting stories about the nuclear delivery methods. He was a hoot to fly with, hated tower guys, always giving them poop.

Didn’t I read on Britmodeler or LSPs that this kit was being re-released in 2024? I know I read it somewhere, I can’t find the release info now.

You can stay to 65 now. I know a few are serving that late now. I’m with you Brad, I want a Vb and Vc. No interest in the Va.

I had a similar flight with my mom, who loved the Concorde. We paid $50 each for a flight at an airshow. I heard just recently that the airshow organizer miss-used some government funding to sell these subsidized flight to his friends and family. We lucked out in getting seats ourself. I only thought the tickets were a bargain.

I don’t think Border will do a thing. They didn’t bother finishing this kit, they rushed it to the market. WNW’s still were refining the kit. There was one aftermarket company considering a canopy but when he realized how thin it had to be he decided against it.
