  1. Fantastic progress and great plan with the masks!!
  2. Apart from being an outstanding build, your paintjob is one of the best of a German camouflaged aircraft I've ever seen. I bet the originals didn't look any bit different than yours, the camouflage colors are there, but there is no hard demarcation line - just perfect
  3. Stunning build, indeed one of the best 32nd F-16s I've ever seen - Lothar
  4. Sorry if my question sounds stupid Brad, but just for my understanding: Would 35scale helicopters - Hueys for example - qualify in the CAS role or are only 32nd scale aircraft accepted? Lothar
  5. Unfortunately not available on Amazon Prime in Germany , only rent and buy option, but I'm a cheapo!
  6. Excellent build, fantastic rendition of one of my favourite WWII aircraft - hats off !!! Lothar
  7. That's a stunning build, your paintwork is exceptional and absolute realistic Can only shake my head in disbelieve this is the old Matchbox kit. Lothar
  8. I really do admire your persistence in researching the subject your modelling, that's probably why the results are very convincing and realistic. Wish I had a bit of it. Stunning progress so far Lothar
  9. Excellent work all around, she'll turn out a true beauty once finished
  10. During my sweating tent and green leave session I had a vision and saw a clear picture. This: A-4E vrom VF-43, a pure training unit. Everything needed is in the house Lothar
  11. I've first heard that word when watching a baseball game on TV in the US. One of the commentators referred to someone elses remark as: "What a plethora of verbal diarrhea" Lothar
  12. That's quite an ambitious list Ade. But if you love Phantoms it should be doable. One of the most impressive and interesting aircraft ever, I have the same soft spot for Phantoms. My stash currently counts 11 48scale and 2 32nd scale kits, and they all cry out to be done - my shaky hands will most likely not prevent me from at least trying. Go for it Ade.
  13. I have to give this a serious thought, might save me some frustration!!! Decals are one thing, they're available in this scale and the correct markings. Lothar
  14. I do indeed owe you a couple of cold ones Thierry Lothar
  15. Congratulations, you must be very happy indeed.
  16. Thank you so much for your intensive insider information Chek. I came up empty handed when looking for pictures, but found out that there were indeed carrier based Navy squadrons (VF-151, 161, 74 and maybe 103). These I guess would most likely be armed for air defence, that's why I decided to arm my model with Aim-9M and Aim-7M - at least it would "theroretically" have been possible. Do you think I can head this direction? The model is for the display cabinet only anyway. Lothar
  17. I'd like to commit to this GB to get back on track after a long break. My stash reveals nothing hair raising but either a F/A-18B from VFA-125 "Rough Raiders" (a pure training unit) in some adversary markings or a Special Hobby T-2 Buckeye. Advantage everything needed is in the boxes so no need to buy something. Maybe I retire into my sweating teepee and smoke some green leaves till I see a clear picture Lothar
  18. I had to look up the Lukgraph Dominie but that would be one of the most interesting entries into the GB - especially coming from you ! Lothar
  19. What a beauty, one of the best B-25s I've ever seen. Your paintwork is exceptional, everything looks just right that includes the weathering Lothar
  20. Excellent work so far, your cockpit is simply beautiful Lothar
  21. Fantastic work so far - the end result will simply look spectacular Lothar
