Ensign "Hammy" Grey's F4U-1D Corsair Technique Question
Brad-M replied to Totalize's topic in LSP Discussion
If he is building the restored warbird, it shouldn't matter if the warbird's serial is accurate or not. He is trying to replicate the aircraft pictured in the photo, and not what Grey was flying the day he died. -

What Options for a PSP Display Base are out There?
Brad-M replied to Brad-M's topic in LSP Discussion
I have no idea what it's worth to me. How much would it cost to produce one to acceptable measurements for a P-51D Mustang? Brad -
Hey guys, Are there any pre-made, just add some paint and weathering bases out there of the PSP Marsden for our models? TIA Brad

Kotare mk Va For 2024 and possibly another variant
Brad-M replied to Pup7309's topic in LSP Discussion
The Spitfire variant that I want most is a highly detailed and accurate Kotare Spitfire Mk Vb. I built Tamiya's uber kits already, but I passed on the HB Mk Vb. I retired at 55, but was in the RCN for 35 years, so I had to retire Funny though how busy I still am, but I look forward to Monday's now instead of dreading them Happy Holidays Everyone! Brad -

That's a beauty. Very nice NMF! That must be a big model. Congrats!
-
Beautiful work. That NMF is just grand, and painting the markings just adds to it like a cherry on top. Well done!

Upcoming Japanese Model Show - New Tamiya Releases?
Brad-M replied to John1's topic in LSP Discussion
I'd love to see Tamiya do a 1/32 Spitfire Mk IX.... -
Late to this party, but your cockpit and exterior detail is breath taking...thanks for sharing your build

EP706 was a "C" wing, so using the Seafire or the Revell Mk II, won't work.

Looking forward very much to this release! Best Regards Brad -
Sorry, I just got this notification now. Thanks to all who replied. For some reason, I can't see the click here for instructions on my phone, but can on my PC. Cheers, Brad

Do they include instructions with their decal sheets yet, or are they still downloaded from their website? I can't seem to find them on their site. TIA Brad

Quite a bit of flash for a 2022 kit. -
Thanks guys. Best of luck with the move Kev. As a retired Navy guy, I know what you mean about moves, boxes etc. Cheers, Brad

Hi Guys, Maybe I missed it, but is there a reason why there hasn't been any updates since January 10th? TIA Brad

New Revell Hawker Hurricane II.B in 2022??? not confirmed yet
Brad-M replied to Jan_G's topic in LSP Discussion
If that's a re-pop of the Fly kit for that price, wouldn't it be a huge steal? -
Kotare Models - a New Venture from Former Wingnut Wings Staff
Brad-M replied to LSP_Kevin's topic in LSP Discussion
Very solid choice. Can you build a Mk Ia from the Revell Mk II kit, sure, but this new kit from Kotare should be well detailed, and the surface detail very nice and fine, not clunky. Bring it on, and hopefully they do a Vb too! -
Thanks! Brad

Beautiful model and figures with base. Where did you get the figures from?
