Hi Guys

Thank you all for your patience while I move house and workshop space. We are making progress, however slower than hoped but that I think is quite common with these types of projects. I am doing my best to be up and running as soon as possible as some income would be good to have as lots has been going out with nothing coming in, it was planned, so no real worry, and also grateful that my wife has a good full time job.

All being well Aerocraft will be up and operational in August, not sure of what date as of yet, but I will let you all know when it is up and running.
However I will warn you all now, the processing of orders may take a few weeks to process initially so once again ask for your patience in the process of supplying your orders.

	cheers Alistair (Ali)

	Hi Ali,

The Kitty Hawk Mirage 2000C single seater has a stupid issue. KH actually only measured a two-seater 2000 and thought both planes had the same length! So, they overextended the front fuselage of the single seater at windshield level. This means the two-seater kit has a correct length part whereas the single-seater part is too long. A copy of the two-seater windshield part and simple fuselage cut can solve that on the 2000C model. So, I'm wondering if you would consider releasing a resin copy of the two-seater part to correct the other kit? This could be a quick win!

	Cheers

	Hi Guys

Even though I only got two guys come forward with a direct email to me about developing a 1/32 scale kit, I decided to go ahead. Both Chad and I wanted one so why not, at least we will have one. I am hoping that a few more join the gang so now is your opportunity. I have only a hand full ready and will be on sale at Blackbird Models stand at Telford this weekend.

If you would like to order one via the shop, and would like to get it still this year please place an order no later than the 13th November. That may even cut it tight as I need to order brass parts before Christmas shut down.

The kit has a few enhancements over the smaller scales. As mentioned brass undercarriage parts, open and closed cockpit door and canopy, decals for the instruments that fit under very thin 3D printed panels, and a set of seat harnesses 'Sutton' supplied to me via Peter at Airscale.

As already announced earlier by DBMK, and on the main page of the site, I am developing the T.20 CONVERION. This is still very much at prototype stage lots more details and tweaks to be done. This will be on display at Telford 2025 this weekend, visit the DBMK stand to see it.

AEROCRAFT MODELS IS ON THE MOVE
All customers please note that AEROCRAFT MODELS is relocating. As the business is run from my home, my wife and I are moving to a new (but older) smaller house on the 23rd April. So as of today 25th March I have stopped all products that involve any parts that have to be cast. As I need to start the moving process. Other sets that are 3D printed and or the brass sets will still be mostly available, although at some point please be a little more patient in having your orders mailed out. At this point I envisage that I will be back in full capacity around June / July, I will keep this page updated. two things to keep in mind and to do in the meantime should you want to order ANY item that shows not to be in stock.
MOST IMPORTANTLY use the Notify Me Button on all products when the item is loaded back into stock. That way you will be automatically notified when I place items back on line.

DO NOT PAY over the odds prices for unavailable items through auction sites, as all items will become available again in the coming months.

The good news is a few new products are to be launched in the next few days and these will all be available for ordering as they are not have any parts that are cast in either normal or clear resin.

I would like to thank many of my many loyal customers for their support and welcome all and every new customer from where ever you are in the world. Thank you all for your understanding in this time of upheaval for my home and my business but it is real and is happening so we just need to get on with it.

This has been hanging around for a while, Ben Standen, did the original CAD work, the files are printed as can be seen, I need to do some corrections and add surface details. The canopy is still the biggest challenge, but I have some trial parts in development for this.

I intend to resin cast the major parts, the smaller parts and the cockpit details will be 3D printed parts along with some decals.

I am wanting to keep the price as competitive as I possibly can and therefore at this stage I am not intending to do engine detail, other than a cylinder detail that can be seen through the intake. I intend to offer separate flying surfaces, but what is the thought on the flaps being separate parts, as when parked I think that they are mostly in the neutral position.

At this stage I cannot commit to a release date, but realistically it would be summer 2023.

I understand you receive dozens of suggestions for projects, but I thought I might throw another on the list.

There are now a number of excellent resin and PE correction and update sets for this kit, but what it also needs badly is a windscreen and canopy. They are a little short in height and look a little flat when assembled. The way the canopy is engineered creates a distortion at the join of the clear part and the lower fairing...which is also is difficult to glue together.

There must be hundreds of these kits out there but I don't know if people are still willing to tackle the beast. Not sure if there would be a market which would make the effort worthwhile for you.

Anyway, just a thought...and I suppose too there is the question of which canopy profile to use.

If you have an opportunity in your impossibly busy work schedule, is there any chance that you can throw some consideration to producing a replacement windscreen and canopy for the truly awful Revell 1/32 F-15C Eagle kit smoke tinted offerings please? (this is the only thing - apart from decals - stopping me from making/completing the kit I started back in the mid-80's!).

In particular my customers in the USA. For the last few months I have been covering the tariff charges on all orders from the U.S. as my web shop provider did not have a system where the 10% could be added to the order automatically through the website. Therefore it would have got really complicated and messy for both you the customer and myself to sort out and resolve each order. As of early in November the issue has now apparently been resolved by the provider, but due to me being busy one way or another I have not implemented it as yet. I now intend to implement the tariff charges through the website as of the 1 st December, so now would be a good time to place any orders you are contemplating.

Not to leave anyone out I would just like to say thank you to all the loyal customers world wide for your continued support. I will always do my best to assist where I can and offer the best products and service I can. I am always just an email away to help or resolve any issues.

	Cheers Ali
