  2. I love aviation prints, some of them anyway, but have very little wall space available to me. This used to hang in my den (man cave #2), but I haven't seen it since I moved a few years back.
  3. OBG, I would be interested in any US jet prints. What have you got? How many prints? Dan
  4. Thanks John, yeah I saw that 'after' I placed the decal. There are acouple more on the other side that I intend to include.
  5. Thanks Paul, not done yet , more dirt/dust to come.

  7. OBG - Ii looks as if her hair is "gone with the wind"! LoL! Gorgeous work Jay!! Alfonso
  8. Hi Troy, any time frame on the drill press release? Was about to go the Dremel route but would much rather use the D550. Thanks Walt.
  9. I am with you K2. I get all the a/m for a kit before I start. Over the last couple of years I haven't bought many kits, but I have been going through the stash box by box and ordering any missing a/m. And then new a/m is released and the process starts over. Definition of insanity anyone?........
  10. I'm a piker and a newbie. I was going to say no repeats, which is technically almost true, but I find I do have 2 FW190 F8s and old and new tool Revell, a hase Dora, and two (?) Ta 152s, a C and an H 0. Well, there's a 48th scale 190, too, but I won that in a raffle, so. ...
  11. Awesome build Kriss! Really great camo work on a complicated scheme Matt
  12. Hey Carl, Bill, Good to hear all is well in Canada. I'll have some news to announce soon about some sponge adhesive pads to use with the D400 (sander).. There is also a new template being offered to easily cut out the sponges that will fit each individual shapes for the sander tips that come with the D400. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I have a good mate to let him go through this for us. Coming soon there will be a new drill press device to use with the D550 router that is coming out soon. This is a vertical mount drill press using the D550 (semi pro) that will also have a small table type saw device as an added feature to use. Coming soon. If interested, I can provide send some pictures of the prototype. The new D150 mini pin vise is also a great addition and sells well. A great shout out to all you gent's for supporting me for the past several years. Thank you. Kindest regards, Troy
  13. Haha! It’s Already in reverse- noted. Got threads crossedAs you were. Continue with speculation wishlisting from rumourmonger!

  15. I believe there are differences between the D-13 and the Ta152H as it pertains to the gun mounted within the engine. The Ta152H had a 30mm Mk108 and the D-13 had a 20mm MG151. The Z-M Ta152H kit depicts the 30mm ammo cannister as wrapping around the rear breech of the Mk108 cannon, directly behind the engine. The ammo cannister on the D-13 was located in the empty compartment normally occupied by the twin MG131 above the engine on the D-9. This is a photo of Volume 2 of Jerry Crandall's excellent Dora book set showing the restored D-13. I hope that helps!
  16. Looking good, the wing assembly to fuselage was such a tight fit on my first build and then on my second build glued the wing fillers to the fuselage first and the whole fit was much better. Looking forward to more progress. Regards. Andy
  17. Thank you Kev and so simple in the end after years of head scratching Regards. Andy
  18. Not a member here that I'm aware of. He works for AMMO/MIG/WHATEVERTHEY'RECALLEDTODAY, mostly as a modeller and writer. Some years ago he penned a 5-volume aircraft modelling encyclopaedia for them, which I reviewed here back in the day. This is Volume 3: https://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/review.php?rid=1610 Kev
  19. Aviation prints aren't really my thing, but you've made a very generous offer. I hope someone takes you up on it. It would be a shame to see them meet the same fate as the Looney Tunes cels.
  20. Troy is good people and the products he's selling are aces.
  21. Not sure where/how to do this. We are downsizing, which means we have lots of stuff that needs a new home. While rummaging here and there today, I discovered that I have squirreled away several very nice - meaning well done and in great shape - aviation fine art prints. Some are signed by the artist, others are signed to me by the artist and the rest are just decent prints. Mostly Keith Ferris, a couple RG Smiths, some of my own, and a handful of dogs and cats. Mostly modern jets, I think. None of my kids or grandkids want any of it and if none of you all want them, they will soon grace the local landfill. They are free to whomever might want them and, depending on where you live, I might even pick up the shipping tab. PM me and we will work out some photos for your review. Oh! And I also have the full size fuselage template set from the plans for a Rutan Long EZ if anyone is interested. OBG
  22. Very nice! Looks like a big step up from the classic Monogram 1/48th kit!
  23. With the engines painted it was time to move on to one of the really tricky parts of this conversion which is getting the nacelles mounted to the wing as there are no positive attachment points at all. I've been pondering this issue for such a long time now (Erm, just the 7 years) and after painting up the engines at the weekend realised it's a pretty simple and clean solution to the problem! With the engine secure inside the nacelle I then carefully taped it into the correct position on the wing and ran a drill down through the centre of the engine into the rear engine bulkhead And with a suitable piece of aluminium tubing inserted I was then able to slide the nacelle in to place and all nicely aligned I then cut the tube to the correct length as this will also then act as a nice positive location for the propeller Pretty happy how that's worked out so far, next up I will build up the prop hub and fan so I can get good alignment of the cowl ring before gluing in to place. Regards. Andy
