All three YAK-3s were painted in similar scheme, light blue undersides and medium and dark gray topsides.

Hi,
YAK-3 story is almost done, prop shaft was positioned to center the plastic tube, glued in to the fuselage,
IPB Image

Some steel wire was inserted in the undercarriage legs, strenghtening the joint between UC leg and wing ,
IPB Image

Final touch ups were made using silver wax pencil,

Next pictures will be photos of finished YAK-3s

Very impressive Nenad. Your Yak-3 has come out astonishingly well. Since Duxford (in the UK) had resatored and now regularly fly their own Yak-3, I am becoming more and more attracted to the performance of this little fighter...it is very impressive to watch. All three models look fantastic. I like the use of viynal masks, they work well. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Best regards

Derek
