Hey guys, this is something totally different to me and need your guys opinion on a color scheme I want to do for my 1/350th scale NX-01 Enterprise Model that I am building for a Flory Models Sci-Fi group build. I am not going to be lighting this thing, nor am I going to be doing the Traditional Aztec painting. I want this NX-01 Model to have something different than what anybody else has ever done. I am going to be using mainly AK Metalizer paints with a few Model Master Metalizers as well. My question to you guys is do you like the way I have made this particular scheme in the artwork renduring through Photoshop with the Metalic Blue on the hull areas or do you think I should go ahead and do it in the Darker Titanium look that is shown on the bridge area to replace the Metalic blue. I figure I have alot of playing room with this since of coarse this is a fictional theme anyway. If you like the Metalic Blue, vote for Blue, and if you like the Dark Titanium, them vote Titanium, Thanks guys for your cooperation in this wacky experiment I am hatching.

P.S. I have put notations in the Art work area showing what the colors would be I will use as well as where they will be going on the hull.

Chris..

I love the colors and scheme you have chosen. The photo looks great. :wub:

I can imagine it in the space gliding slowly in the darkness of the universe as it lights up the dark skies mixing with the stars

It will work..

Good Luck.

How about a metallic silver base and then use the colors you have in a very subtle clear "candy" or transparent top coat where it doesn't stand out like a kids toy in the toy department at a Walmart?

Hey Guys, I'm back again with another new refinement update for my NX-01 Paint scheme Colors. I will still us all the AK Range of Metalizers on the hull like I was going to do last time but in a different style look which I think I like much better than the last artwork rendering. What do you all think of the new look? Let me know and thanks for you time guys, much appreciated.

Looks ok to me. I do prefer Alclad over the AK. I find the AK  range tend to pull up and you'll be doing a ton of masking!

Gosh, its real pretty.

It is science fiction, anything we do is correct.

I like the paint scheme.

But all one can say about a future project is do we like it or is it meaningless to one or does a person dislike it.

Everything is acceptable because Sci Fi is FICTION.

i LIKE IT.

i ALSO THINK WE SHOULD PAINT SOME MODELS OF REAL AIRCRAFT ANY WAY THAT PLEASES US. iT'S OUR HOBBY;

ENJOY IT.

I've taken the liberty of merging these two topics; no need for two separate threads on this.
