Well if the fiddly bits frazzle you enough, then this too could become a big bent winged bird!

Even with the kit's iconic straight wing..

Good choice, been wanting to see how this one goes. Good Thanksgiving John.

Will be a great build to follow, I have the economy version in the stash so I'll be taking notes!

Be careful of the toes that you step on today for they may be connected to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow.

Just a quick word of warning. The built up kit does not fly very well. Just ask my now 4 year old son how I know...

One thing I did on my build was wait to glue the joints of the landing gear until after it was in place so I could get the angles correct.

Happy Thanksgiving John and can't wait to see you start.

Progress made on the cockpit "tub". About ready to slip it into the nose section. I used some Eduard PE for the instrument panel and radio faces and the kit PE seat belt harnesses.

Thanks. The fit, for the most part, is great. Very snug so a minimum of glue is needed.

Looks great John. When you get to the nacelles, I think the firewalls may be reversed. Maybe check their fit before mounting anything to them?

Been working on the landing gear (just the one so far). If I didn't have some really good reference books I would still be trying to figure out the placement of all the little bitty struts/braces, etc. There are 23 parts, not including the wheels, for the struts, etc.The instructions, at least to me, are CRAPPY. It's very difficult to figure out where each and every little fiddly bit goes and, again to me, it has a high cuss-factor. Now that I have the first one done the second shouldn't be as bad.
