Designed by Radu B.  Good show.  Hopefully Revell listened to your recommendations without any short cutting.

Rudders attached to the side wall and not under the I.P.  I find that interesting.  May be a bit fiddly to align.  We'll see.

Anyway, can only be less complicated that the Tamiya and Z-M kits.

Sincerely,

Mark

Man. I take trip to Japan for a day, come back and and this pops up. Now if only a B-Stang would show up.

Seeing as Radu designed it, I'm sure it'll be pretty much on the money. Good enough for me, anyway!

Seeing as the Tamiya is the other correct Mustang in this scale, I expect Revell will sell many, many kits at the excellent prices they manage to hit.

Just checked my decal binder. What joy! 13 sets for the P-51D with 2 or 3 options per set. Most are my favorites. I do hope the price is right.

It's just gotta be bought.  But with all due respect to all concerned, and much as I like the 361st, another "Lou IV"?  Really?

Nobody uses kit decals though, do they?

Not us AM obsessed idiots, anyway.

Someone else made the point that this is an early -5(?) Mustang without the fillet. I'm curious to see if the later ones can be made from this kit. I did some scouting around, and there just aren't quite as many decal options for the fillet-less bird as the other. But I'm still on board for several.

Surely they'll have both tail fillet options in the box? The Spitfire has both clipped and normal wings...

I'm sure all will be revealed in time, just relieved it's not afflicted with the pox!!!
