Aoshima made that version as a plastic kit. You should be able to find them around but they can get expensive. Hopefully they'll reissue it at some point.

G'day Everyone!

Yesterday I finished a kit!  True...it wasn't a model kit.  But I had to use 5minute epoxy to hold it together.

b_161554.jpg

It's the vertigo biplane jig for larger scales.  Now that I've taken the WNW plunge, I reckon it's a necessity.

I got it from BNA yesterday as well as some Alclad white and black microfilling primers, a pick up stick, and some pipettes.

I also picked up some more acrylic colors and chalk from my local discount store.

Cheers,

Gaz

Doubt so. Where are the green paddings for the support arms? :wicked:

Well. I used super glue to build mine. And super glue remover to clear the mess

Nice jig! Enjoy!

Now we want to see your first biplane build, of course :coolio:

Gazzas, why only white chalk for weathering your models. You have plans for a diorama of the whole Russian front during the winter you are not talking about? LOL

Rick

Rick,

I have other colors as well.  It's just that the white is mixed with the others.  For instance, my 'dust' mixture is about 8 parts white, 2 parts warm yellow, 1 part gray, and 1 part brown.  I mix my own paints, too and I go through much more white and black than the rest combined.

Doubt so. Where are the green paddings for the support arms? :wicked:

I didn't get any green pads for the support arms.   As messy as the 5-minute epoxy was to use...  I'm glad I only had to fit a few parts together.

Cheers,

Gaz

Remember this recent thread ?

http://forum.largesc...showtopic=73022

So I went away and bought a Trumpeter Ju-87 B2 kit from Ebay China, Dawns grocery store I've used before, got lucky perhaps, no UK customs charges so a cheap purchase :)

I know kit needs work in some areas to be more accurate, but its the style and era of BoB Stuka I want to build and so be it :)

I love it! Dawn's Grocery Store in China. When I was a kid in the 1960s, I used to buy model kits in the Rexall Drugs or the IGA Grocery store.
