This also arrived today:

I think it'll come in handy when I build my HK kit. Can't believe it was only $30.

Carl

Another that's on my Amazon list. What's your impression of the book?

So far, I think it's really good. It covers the development of the Mitchell, its systems, and armaments in great detail. I'm going to go over it more thoroughly in the next few days.

I picked up my copy from Amazon where it's been on my wishlist for a couple years. I saw the price had dropped to half what it usually was so grabbed it.

Now I am jealous!

Brian, I know you're a big MF fan. If you get the chance to grab one of these you should. I've got the Fine Molds one in the stash but everyone says this one is considerably better. I'll find out soon enough.

You'd be shocked to see my Amazon book list. I'll never get them all.

Just received this today. Not really my cup o' tea, but as a freebie, I'll most certainly keep it after reviewing it.

I wasn't planning on it, but the price was just too darn good:
20171202_153802-L.jpg

I've got a plan for it after my Felixstowe.

Cool cool Tony.
The scheme with the skull is just fabulous it’s got one on each side of the fuselage and a skull on the top wing, plus lozenges and wood to play with!
I’ve been hovering about buying one or not as i have a dozen of albatrosses in the stash but this specific scheme just calls to me!

Thanks, Karim. In my excitement at picking up the camera today, I completely failed to realise that I would need a memory card for it! D'oh!

That's the scheme I was planning on building. It is a cool looking one. I haven't fully worked it out but there will be an Fe2 with the Albatross...

Very nice looking DSLR and lens, not up to speed on Canon's, Nikon person myself and no expert either, but I enjoy using it and slowly learning what it can do ... heh, on forgetting to buy a memory card, easy mistake to make, get mine from Amazon and like to have a couple spare, found a couple go corrupt over time, get them with a sort of hard open-able case you can pop in wallet or whatever for outdoor trips ... because that's where DSLR's are best IMHO, memory cards are fragile, so good to carry spare ones ... oh and I bought a separate battery for my Nikon D5200 too, so I go out with 2 fully charged battery's at all times, not needed the second battery yet, but better to be prepared.

Enjoy.

Odd, though I haven't bought a new camera in years, my little Nikon came with a memory card, a small one, but a card nonetheless.
