Sparzanza
And so I'm finally posting in the ready for inspection-section. I present to yous the Airfix 1/24 Hawker Hurricane. It has been far from a trouble-free build, with mishaps ranging from a nasty cut in the finger to paint disagreements, flash, and a terrible fit. But here she stands. Brush & sponge-painted using Humbrol enamels. Weathering with a charcoal pencil, Humbrol 11, and a q-tip. Panel line wash with a thinned Humbrol 33, dirt wash on the tyres with a thinned Humbrol 29. Tried to seal the deal with Humbrol 49 Acrylic varnish spray. Never again.. unless I feel like repainting. Below's the link to the W.I.P thread for the curious ones, and, further below than that is... well. The result. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=46212&page=1 Enjoy. Guest Jessie_C
I had that kit when I was 14. I saved for ages to get it and then I ruined it For reasons still unknown to me the wing roots wouldn't match up with the fuselage without giving the wing a horrible anhedral. I've still got Mr Pilot around somewhere.
