Hi Guys,
With the help of Jim Rotramel and Anthony Thornborough we have now the CAD drawings for these 2 weapons.
Laser cutting will begin shortly.
Harold has agreed to do the casting.
Thanks

Nice rendering. What material will you use to laser cut?

Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mark

You know I'm in for a number of sets.
I need the CBUs for my AF SLUF and the "Nape" will be perfect for the Spad.
Both weapons will be relevant to any Vietnam era aircraft configured for CAS missions.

Just because it won't be seen is no reason not to make it right!

They are perfect for all types of Vietnam fighterjets :-) I am stocking up on F-100s, Phantoms and planning to buy a F-105.

I would get some Napalm for some Vietnam era stuff...
Give blood: build models and use #11blades....

Modeling: A little cheaper than Golf and you won't get skin cancer.

Hi Eli,

Any update on those baby's

Dan.

I have the SLR masters in my possession. It will be some time before they can be used for a master. The SLR rendering leaves a lot to be desired. To be honest, I think they are great for sizing and accuracy, but can't be used as printed.

I didn't want to post anything until Gordon posted them.
These aren't from Elis' SLR masters. I was unable to use them. however, Thierry Laurent was already making masters for them. (different versions) Thank Thierry for these.
These are his work, with my modifications to them for ease of casting without losing details. I cast the fins in a protective pouring block, hopefully it will save the fins from the typical destruction I have seen from other casters. (Thierry hasn't seen them yet....)
Zotz stencils are included as well.
I haven't worked on the napalm canisters yet. I will have to scratchbuild them, but I am using the SLR as a pattern. (if Aires doesn't offer any in the near future)
I will be sending in the next batch a bunch of SUU-H/B canisters that were used during Desert Storm. There are two bombs in each set.

Do Aires have plans for releasing napalm-cannisters and other ordnance?
