Here are a few snaps of my recently completed Hasegawa Fw190A-6 "Galland" kit. I corrected the cockpit coaming, detailed the gunsight, added brake lines/clamps and used Master Barrels for the inside MG151's and brass tube for the outside MG151's and to make a pitot tube. I also added Eduard's pre-painted seatbelts and my usual aerial wire with spring/insulators.

Overall it was a nice build, but I still shake my head that Hasegawa messed up the cockpit coaming on this otherwise nicely done kit. A few errors in the instructions to deal with, such as the backwards control column and the need to fill some panel lines (MW50 access hatch and FuG antennae mounting hole on the bottom of the fuselage/wing) were the only other minor issues.

I used Mr. Color paints, and kit decals to build the model as Adolf Galland's aircraft in 1943 when he served as General der Jadgfleiger.

Lovely work Doug. Good to see a straight, clean build like this occasionally. Beautifully executed.

Nice job Doug. Very clean. Do you still use the Paasche H or did you go hitech? The mottling and wavy camo are really tight (per your usual MO) and I'm curious.

Very clean build Doug. The mottling is flawless, and a great subject as well.
