Woooo hooo!

Pauls Fb.11 is great, but his September Fury went to gether like a dream. Looking forward to following this one. :)

Just look out for that rear seam between the wing and fuse. There can be a little bit of a dip there, but some CA and some judicious sanding should do the trick.
The silk decals are very vibrant (if you have one of the original SF releases) but are a bit thick and do not respond to Mico-set, Micro-sol, and not even solvaset, as far as I could tell. Just persistnce and lots of clear since the 1:1 bird is/was so pristine.

If you're interested, I was able to snag a few photos of the September Fury at the Chino Planes of Fame Museum this last weekend when it was opened up for maintenance. If you would like them, I can e-mail them over to you. It isn't much, they had it behind ropes, but I got a few shots.

Okay. I'll send you what I've got in the morning. I did get a few shots, but not a whole lot. I couldn't get into the cockpit sadly, but the tail section was removed, so I got a couple of shots of that, and the tail wheel mounting points in the fuselage. Plus, for some reason, all of the exhausts were removed and placed in a bucket, so I've got a shot of those.

Hey there,

here are the photos I promised. I figured it was easier to put them on here instead of e-mailing them. All of these photos are mine, so no need to worry about copyrights.

Oh wow thanks for posting!! so theyve changed up the paint scheme, I'm liking that more than sulfer yellow wings! I'm gonna have to look more closely at the kit to see if I can simply change out the markings. Woo!

Yeah, I like the red and white wings better than the yellow, but both should look very sharp once it's painted up. I can't wait to see this build go, those Fisher kits always look like such fine pieces of molding.

I'm sorry I didn't take more pictures, but the plane was behind a barrier, so I couldn't get up to where the engine and mounts were, or else I would have snagged more pictures.
