Wash in the cockpit is FW acrylic ink (Sepia), the technique I use is to dip a thin brush in the ink, then dunk it in tamiya thinner, then let capillary action do the rest. If too much is applied to one area, it's easy to either blow the excess off the parts or soak it up with a brush or cotton swab. Decided not to do any panel shading or weathering outside of the pit for no real reason other than I felt like having a fresher paint job than what would have been seen in combat. Added some flat light gray to tamiya clear gloss as I had run completely out of clear flat coats to see how it'd look; the result speaks for itself, I'm liking it!

I'm delighted to share that I finally have a completed RNZAF plane in the collection after... well, far too many years of building. Hasegawa 1/32 P-40M kit, only additions was an Eduard color zoom set and the seat has Radu lap belts and an Eduard harness as part of an experiment to see what method liked better.
