Hello,
I need some help with determining the proper colors for the following Revell kits that I have. Would some one be so kind as to tell me what the proper (RLM?) colors are?
ME-109G
dark gray - upper wings/fuselage
gray - upper wings/fuselage
light blue - underside/fuselage sides
grey green - interior/cockpit

FW-190D
dark green - upper wings/fuselage
olive green - upper wings/fuselage
light grey - underside/fuselage sides
interior green - interior/cockpit

BF 109F
anthracite grey - engine
dust grey - cockpit/ instrument panel
light olive - engine compartment/inside landing gear doors
black green - propeller
light blue - underside/fuselage sides
olive grey - upper wings/fuselage
mouse grey - upper wings/fuselage

I also have a Hasegawa Bf 109E night fighter that calls for an overall black grey.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any suggestions for specific manufacturers/paints that would be great. I'm used to using Testors Model Master enamels.
Thanks for taking time to have a look.
God Bless You,
Joe

Hi Dejan,
Yes, thanks. It does help. Do you have any numbers (Testors manufacturing numbers) for the Model Master paints?
Thanks for helping out.
God Bless You,
Joe

Greetings Once Again,
I have other questions. If the colors I need for the 109G are 74/75/76 and the colors given in the instructions are dark grey and grey, which color is which? I did some research to see if I could find the paints I needed and 74 is graugrun and 75 is grauviolett. So, is 74 used for the dark grey or the grey?
And pertaining to the 109F which would be used for the olive grey? 74 graugrun or 75 grauviolett?
Then for the 190D it calls for dark green and olive green, so I can see where I would use 82 dunkelgrun for the dark green and 83 lichtgrun for the olive green, but if I used the combination of 81/82 does 81 braunviolett substitute for the olive green?
I apologize for my confusion, but when the kit calls for grey and dark grey and I see where I use greygreen or greyviolet it's above my pay grade. :mental: :innocent: :hmmm:
Thanks & God Bless You,
Joe

Hi Dejan,
Thanks so much for all of your effort. My scanner is acting up and I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I believe you got everything nailed down. I really appreciate your time and effort.

Joe
