Hi Bob

I,am just starting on your Typhoon kit and am cleaning up the body and wings to check fit and so on. I have notice that where the
wing joins the body wing root the wing seams to be wider than the root. If I center the wheel bay to its position on the body I have
a good 16th of an inch or more on the front and the trailing edge is about the same past the root towards the tail . Now is this normal or
when I attach the wings do I line up the front edge and just sand down the trailing edge untill it meets the root?

Cheers

I have been contemplating the MDC Tiffie for quite some time, but as I dont have it, cant say. However Ron did do a very nice build of the MCD Tiff, and if Bob doesnt answer your question directly (which he likely will) try sending LSP_Ron a PM here:

Rons MDC Tiffie build

Hi Brian,
Thanks for leaving me the link to to Ron's Typhoon build. That certain has answered a few questions about
the kit . For a minute there I though it was me missing something. I'll wait to see what Bob has to say and
go from there.

Cheers

Hi Jim,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you but have been away at the Scottish Nats in Perth.
The fit in the wing/fuselage should be fairy snug will take a pic as soon as I can or if you can pop me one over I'm sure we can sort it out. I do all the casting myself now and ensure that the wings and fuselage are poured from the same batch of resin to avoid ant fit problems, if you have had you kit for a couple for some time this might not have been done if there are problems we will replace it.
