Great job, Frank. You can't go wrong with Guard Vipers!

Jake

Jake, your Modern Phantom guide is (and will continue to be) something of a biblical reference to me during my Phantom master pattern building phases, as they are so good - so I must now start collecting your Viper equivalents :) (I have the original 1/32 Hasegawa FSD F-16A kit, so I am looking for something to do with it...I do have one crazy idea, but I need to play around with some plans to see what is possible?).

Cheers

Derek

That is a lovely Viper Frank - I am so glad that you persevered with it, it was certainly worth it in the end.

Thanks for sharing

I never grow weary of looking at F-16's, and yours looks great to me. I was thrilled to recently acquire the Tamiya Viper kit. I'm intending to do it as a Hellenic AF bird; I think they're so cool, and a wonderful challenge to paint for that scruffy looking appearance they so often seem to have.

Thank you Derek, much appreciated! :speak_cool:

Thanks for the feedback Kevin, I am glad you like her! I think you will be amazed by the kit when you build it, and I will enjoy watching your take on it- those Hellenic AF Vipers are some of the coolest out there, just bought a set of Zotz decals to model one myself yesterday!

Can't wait to see what you've got in mind, both for the F-4 and the Viper. Thanks for the kind words.

I have this book also, and I must say it is splendid. I still need to grab the Phantom book though, (when money permits).

...Nothing much in mind Jake, just thinking about how I can get away with shrinking the size of the kit a little and making the nose a little skinnier...can you tell what it might be yet?;)

Beautiful job Frank! I love that finish, super clean, perfect shading, contrast, everything. For all that work you did on the finish, I'd say it turned out perfect.

Thank you Joe, I appreciate that! It was a LOT of work, and I sure hope to never repeat the mistakes I made on this one.
