This is my first posting of a completed model since joining a month or two ago. Having struggled with my new camera and lighting I hope the pics are ok. I built this about 3 years ago. My late father was the engineering officer for 249 during the blitz on Malta so it was one of his aircraft.

It was built out of the box apart from Eduard belts. Decals are Techmod, codes are hand cut using masking sheet. Tried to give it a "dusty" appearance using chalks but have moved on to Tamiya weathering sets since then and have also discovered pro-modeller wash!

Hope you like it, couple more pics to follow

Beautiful!!! Your paint work is fantastic and so smooth. The weathering is spot on too. Really love the how the wheels are weathered.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!
One of the reasons I do this apart from to drive myself nuts is to see what other modellers think, luckily its been positive!
I now have my photo lighting and camera set up properly and have a backlog of builds to post so I hope I don't bore you too much.
Once up to date I can start fresh with a works in progress on my next build after the bloody Tomcat!
