Yes they can. Hit the edit button at the bottom of the post, select "full edit", highlight the bottom bracketed line and hit delete.
When you update the post, the wheels should dissapear.

Coolest little plane I've seen in a while, nice work.
Don't you wish some people would use glue...

Here are a few more piccies. The kit was just the top and bottom wing parts and the one piece clear part. Everythin else was scratchbuilt. I used the superb Bently cut-away drawings. The model is a mix of the prototype and the production versions. The Luftwaffe acceptance pilot reported that the noise and heat in the cockpit was bad enough to be deadly so it was recommended that a wall be added to the sides of the'pit(but you can still see through to the ground) I also added the two 30mm guns that were supposed to be used but retained the BF109 main wheels. The production version was to have used the Me262 wheels. Lots of work a long time ago.

Another awesome build Jerry! What you do with these kits is an inspiration.

I've just moved this thread over here, as it seems a more appropriate home for it.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. It ws eally nice in the old days to have a finished product once in a while all painted and ready to go. Maybe some day soon I will be able to do that again,

Jerry,

That is one very nice vacform build - just like good old wine, some things never seem to age!
