Hi guys

well this build has been on my bench for far to long now, time to finisch it up, you may still remember this one as its been a while since I sarted this kit. This build got sidetracked from a sidetrack so to speak  But I feel I should finisch this up so I can move on with the rest

to put you up to speed here, I'm adding a few pictures of where I am at the moment, I asked the mods if I was allowed in and they agreed, thanx for that guys

anyway here we go

the main gear bay

thanx for that mate appreciate it but I don't think that the vf115 decals are for the F18A version since I used the BB cockpit set with the A tails this narrows down my options a lot :)

Great Job so far! As soon as I finish up my X-15 I hope to jump in on this group build. I have these decals for F/A-18A's if your interested.

I'll never use them, but if you can, you're more than welcome to them. Sometimes all it takes to get motivated is a set of decals. :) Just PM me your address if interested.

Thanx guys for the help

indeed all it takes sometimes is some new decals to get things going again. I'll PM you guys asap

black betty I'm not going to make a CAG bird of this one, thanx for the offer though appreciate it, at first I was intending to make me an agressor but since I already cut the wings this option is no longer valid because they usualy don't bent their wings while on station :P

Hi Frederick!

How goes the Bug?

Well I'm trying to fix the wing folds up when done I'll attach some pictures of that, right now my F16B conversion is taking up a lot of my build time lately

Hi Frederick,

As far as I can see, incredibly clean building techniques and attention to detail as always with your builds. I like the F-18s and F-16s, so this one should be a real treat

thanx guys

After a visit from Patkiller and Mad Dog (two guys from my modeling club) I was told to get of my arse and finish this kit so I can move along to the next one ;)

Anyway I decided to keep the boxes I made so far and I glued these in their respective place. I can now say that the avionics bays are done :P

I know I said earlier that I was redoing this area but I really really want to get this jet in primer ASAP.

I also added stiffeners around the rear slime light. I barely spotted these on the extra pictures Bob sanchez from Two Bob's send me but I'm glad I did. I found other jets flying with these as well.

all for now guys I know small stuff but for me a huge deal as now I can work on the pit and get on with those damn vertical stabilisers as these are a royal pain in the ass I tell you that.

I hope I can post some more soon
