As I have not much time left for modelling for the moment, this is just a little UP! I almost finished the exhaust. This is how they are for the moment: I also painted the interior of the cover in H58 from Gunze, with a little pre shading. You don't see it very well here. I also give a first coat on the dashboard: Further on the engine. I put the ignition on it, using copper wire, and painted the engine semi gloss: I then put a really light wash on it. When dry, I dry brushed the engine with oilpaints and finished with really light oil with Rose powder: That's all for the moment, sorry, but I'm not one of the fastest.... About the engine...the exhausts are the two pins on the front of each cylinder (which you have cut) connecting to the collector ring at the front of the cowling, not the Y shaped pipes on the back. You don't have that many space, but it fits. For Ron: I already picked the Bolts and nuts out in silver, as I will put a last wash with Burnt Umber / Brown when the engine is dry. Jamme Posted May 25, 2011 Author Share Posted May 25, 2011 Hello to everybody. I have not much time for modelling for the moment, but I had enough time to make a little UP! So i worked a little bit further on the engine. I remade the exhaust, in lead wire, placed them on the cylinders, painted them black and "rusted" them a bit. I also paintesd the bolts silver. Pictures: It now needs a light Burnt sienna wash. I also worked on the front crown. "rusted" it, made holes to fit the exhaust. Here is a picture: I made a dryfit of everything together and here are the pics. That's all for the moments. What do you think about it? Comments, critics and questions always welcome!
