ClumsyDude
IP looks terrific, well done ... sometimes the results on the kit IP can be a bit patchy, but you've done really well. Good job. Jim Tolga ULGUR

Tolga ULGUR
I will use Super Scale Int. from Squadron product. First aircraft chosen months ago. Due to information on this decal set, Robert Scott first aircraft -with early style roundels- has not tail number though the second one wearing 11456. Tolga ULGUR
Nice work! the headrest was in brown leather. Thank you. As far as I remember, headrest was both black and brown colors. Although mostly brown, there were also black ones Anyway thanks for the warning. Shaka HI and Gazzas

waroff
it's not easy on B&W photo to say if it was black. The contrast could vary according the film and exposure. The quality of colour pic isn't enough, because the darkness, to see what was the colour of the headrest.it was wrote "brown leather" for the material of headrest of P40D up to M on the two factory blueprints about the headrest.Whatever it was, your work is fine Shaka HI and Tolga ULGUR
waroff
if we compare the headrest with the optical gunsight and ring sight which were black,we can think that the headrest was not black. your pic is too dark and too contrast may be Shaka HI
KUROK
That last shot of the P-40 nosed over in the mud is a P-40D, quite rare. You can tell because the top scoop on the nose is set back a few inches which was changed on P-40E onward.
