UPS delivered today instead of the predicted Monday, which is a good thing, because it's too freaking hot and humid to be outside right now! So I've spent most of the afternoon assembling the Hobbyzone modules I bought, and starting to get things organized. Still a long way to go, but here's a good start on things! It's coming out pretty much as I had anticipated (which is also a good thing...), and I'm very happy with the result. I didn't realize the HZ stuff was glue together. I guess I was expecting Ikea light or something. Anyway, fortunately I'd just bought a new bottle of Elmer's the other day, so I put a good dent in that getting all this together. Those magnets are amazing. They really hold things together nicely.

As you can see, the two LED work lights are just the ticket. I'm planning eventually to put some overhead hanging LEDs up, but they're a special order item from Home Depot, and I need to replenish the coffers a bit before I buy them. This is more than enough light to work by in the meantime though.

Getting closer!

Looks great!  I hope you have many happy hours building kits there.  It is a wondrous thing to have a nice environment to build kits it.

Now comes the never ending struggle to have more that 30cm ( 12inches) square free of kits, paints , glue and the thousands of other things we use to build with.

A day above ground is, in my opinion, a good day.  :D

Compact & bijou.

"First, shalt thou take out the Holy pin. Then, shalt thou count to three - no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shall thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that then thou shalt proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number is reached, then lobbeth thou thy Holy hand grenade of Antioch towards thy foe who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it. Amen"

The only way for a workbench to look proper, is to be cluttered with the "tools of the trade".

I was going to procrastinate tonight, but decided to wait.
