dodgem37
I thought others may be interested. While working on my Mustang I needed a sanding pad that I did not have. So I made one: I had all of this stuff lying around. God knows why I had abrasive powder lying around, but I did. Anyway, I took some cotton buds, smeared GOOP on them (a clear non-hardening silicon adhesive) dipped them into the abrasive powder, let dry, then sanded away. Great for contours. You can buy grit powder in any size, and volume, to fit your need. Sincerely, Mark AdamR, TaffyMan, Sparzanza and 1 other

seiran01
Thanks for sharing, good idea! Does the Goop hold the abrasive on enough so that the individual granules(?) aren't coming off as you go or end up getting the adhesive on the model? dodgem37
The adhesive is dry and will not rub off of the bud. It is that durable. The grit will rub off, as grit does even from commercially bought products. Sincerely, Mark

dodgem37
You're welcome, everyone. I almost forgot,: I made this, too. Many will recognize this as a Micro Brush. Good for small, and tight places. Sincerely, Mark
