Due to information on Superscale decal sheet; Scott explicity records the aircraft s serial number as 41-1456 but this is not valid; some sources indicate it was actually s/n 41-5696 but this is not confirmed. As delivered the replacement aircraft for the AVG during this period wore standard US Army Air Force insignia, but photos seem to show no serial displayed on the tail.
