Brent
Ok, I am trying to balance my AMS with my interests. I think I can do this. It is a simple kit. Easy paint job. I think I can do it! Brent
Iain
That'll be different Brent... Still amazes me that pilots where brave enough to climb into these things - let alone fly them - and fight in them! Good to see quite a number of older kits being built at the moment - all too easy to dismiss them when there's a lot of fun/satisfaction to be had in building them Iain

Brent
There is video of Russian pilots drawing straws to see who "gets" (or HAS) to fly the Komet. It explodes during the takeoff run. Sad really. I wonder if it is on YouTube? This was a very dangerous aircraft under the best of circumstances. In Soviet hands? Boom! jgrease

imatt88
Love it!!!!! What decal sheet are you using?
Brent
No decal sheet. I will scrounge some stars from the decal bin or simply mask them. I'm looking forward to the finish on this one. In the video it has a bit of a shine to it. So, it isn't glossy, but not matte either.
