dutik
Got a base for the in-flight display. The Mirage is a loooooong bird, so the base is too: 60 cm, or 24 inches, for our US friends. Looks short on the base, but it lacks the long nose, the pitot tube and the engine nozzle. All of this adds considerably. Still on the way of engraving the port fuselage: Regards - dutik mywifehatesmodels and Harold
mywifehatesmodels
Love "in flight" displays and this is going to be cool! I didn't realize how big the Mirage actually is! WOW! John

Harold
The top is the old Revell resin sidewall. It has the upright too far forward, but looks more accurate than the new kit that has the upright halfway back. I like my pit better...LOL rafju, alain11, dutik and 1 other

dutik
Waiting for its slot to be continued. Actually it is sheduled behind the Mig-19, Mistel, He-219, Texan and competiting with an Avia B-35. Simple reason: Lot of frustration with the lousy moulding quality of the new Italeri kit. The intakes are short shot, very well visible and hard to correct. I did a lot of sanding it it is still not smoothed out. Also some problems around the nose cone - watch page 6. Not to mention that I got somewhat tired of scribing the Revell fuselage... So it is on the back seat of the queue...
