LSP_Ray
Well, if it's a review you want... Similar to the other Matchbox kits in the 1/32nd line, it has way overscale engraved panel lines, thick canopy glass, poor detail in the cockpits and wheel wells, details provided are heavy-handed. It includes some extra parts to do two variants, and decals for RAF, RN, and RAAF planes if I remember right. Still, it is the only offering in this scale of the Sea Venom along with the late model Spit, so not much choice. I believe with a little scratchwork (and Warbirds parts for the late Spit) can be made into good looking models.
Qvarre
Thanks, Ray Then i know a little bit more of whats comming in the snailbox. The Venom did service in the Swedish airforce. You have to do some conversionwork on it. A fellow by name M Forslund did this conversion in a book about the swedish Venom. Thanks again Q
LSP_Ray
No problem! I think I have seen pics of the Swedish version. It has some sort of pointed nose on it, doesn't it? Good luck, I hope to convert one of mine to a Venom....someday!
