Posted October 16, 2003 Share Posted October 16, 2003 In checking out my Revell F4-E and RF-4C stash kits, I found what I at first thought was a small drop tank/travel pod for the inboard pylons. It is on the "common sprues" between the ECM pod halves. But when I looked closer, I saw that there were only two halves to this pod (so you can only make one of them ruling out inboard drop tanks) and both the front and back ends are squared off and open (ruling out travel pod). I thought it was a gun pod but in comparing it with CAM's SUU-23 it is too short and too thin to be a 20mm cannon pod. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is. #> TIA & Cheers Mark B.
