Barry
Tom, Where did you order the Tamiya M2 from? Barry
Uncarina
Barry, E-bay, sprues V and W from the Isherman 1/16 kit, the same sprues as for the Pershing kit. Cheers, Tom
Uncarina
A quick update: finished adding the vision blocks to the cupola, added casting numbers to the inside of the commanders hatch and other locations. Just waiting for the clear green sheet for the front optic panel. Cheers, Tom andromeda673, Uilleann, jgrease and 1 other

Uncarina
Barry, I'm flattered! It seemed like it took a long time to put this together, and I'm looking forward to finishing up the conversion, but at the same time it's been a blast! Youngtiger1
Tom, just saw this thread and I must say you are doing great work. I saw this kit when it was announced and it looked pretty cool, but your enhanced version will be even better. Mike Uncarina
Uncarina
Mike, That is very kind of you! Honestly, this has been a true blast, and I've been waiting years to work on a 1/16 Abrams. I can say that while it isn't a "from the ground up" build of a Tamiya full-option kit, it presents a great starting point to build an impressive tank, with enough room for some upgrades.
