This one went right off the runway on takeoff at the airport i worked at, engine(s)  failure and a momentum that had the aircraft make an almost 90 degree turn into the soft grassy ground next to the concrete, nose wheel scraped itself into the ground and the whole thing had very very expensive damages.

Being it wintertime, and the aircraft was U/S, it was decided to tackle the repairs in a blimplike hangar space......anxious to see the outcome......

hahahah, great response, but i'm afraid the whole thing turns down to the fact to find a crew willing to fly this thing out of the airport eventually.

And this isn't the first time this "option" was presented to an aircraft stranded at our airport.......years ago an AN124 was committed, chained up so to say, because of financial problems restricted, and eventually new engines were being flown in by a An22, and after lots and lots of complaints/restrictions made by the surrounding community, the "beast" was flown out uneventually.......

So i'll guess the same will apply for this one in the future......

i wish people would know a little bit more about aviation......
