Spitfire MarkI P9374 Down and out

Recommended Posts

This is looking like a nice hybrid, I'm surprised that the HB and Hasegawa parts fit so well.

Cheers

Dennis

Well, some trimming was needed on the HB frame. The Hasegawa fuselage is thinner towards the top.

this is the Hasegawa windshield on the Hobbyboss fuselage.    I like the Hasegawa fuselage but don't like the HB fuselage, so.....

But Hobbyboss has some good bits and bobs and the control surfaces are separated so thus a bash!

I like what I see Art, though to paraphrase one of your sig. quotes "I am confused and don't understand the situation!". Can't get a handle on exactly what/how you're planning the model. :)

Max

I am just using the Hasegawa fuselage and wing, and then throwing in whatever I like from the Hobbyboss kit. If your confused that's easy to understand, so am I.

we cut out the ailerons on the Hasegawa wing and fit the HB ailerons because the HB ailerons were already separated. and then marked were the hinges are with tape.

these just show how we mark the hinges on the wing first, then transfer the hinge line to the ailerons, the ailerons are not glued together.

and then make the slot for the hinge

That's a neat solution Art and your work looks to be spot on. Nice job.
