onosendai
The A/M32A-60 Generator Set, commonly called the "dash 60 start cart," is a trailer-mounted power unit capable of providing AC and DC power for aircraft electrical systems as well as high volume air for starting aircraft engines. The U.S. Air Force and other branches of the military, as well as many allied nations around the world, used thousands of these units in several variants over the years. Many are still in use today. The McDonnell-Douglas F-4 Phantom II was one of the aircraft for which the unit was designed but but virtually every military NATO aircraft can be associated with this generator. 25 resin parts, decals sheet for three different versions, electrical cables & air hose. Price 28,00 EU. Kagemusha, Luca, stusbke and 3 others

onosendai
Update: some explanation about this subject. tires in the model for sale will be different and improved I tried to reproduce the spiral around the air hose with a marker (one hour for 40cm. of lenght) as an alternative you can use the rubber cord supplied, of course it is an operation that requires LOT of patience, other options haven't been able to find. in the set there will also a single rubber cable as an alternative. Maurizio, after various attempts and checks, the best option I have found to reproduce the spiral is thin electrical wire in a black insulation cover or similarly a copper wire pushed in a vinyl tube . Tony T
Gotta save a few € and get one of these, as the dash 60 is an essential F-4 accessory (and for F-111, when TanModel get theirs out). Waiting for the MHU cart with the missile adaptor parts. FWIW the PWMP deck mule air starter hose is done as a blob of coiled ridged resin, which doesn't look at all bad - have one nearly finished. Thanks for doing this item - looks much better than the Verlinden version. Tony
