Hi Luca,

as you are in Italy, I would look after Brassin wheels and exhausts. For the intakes, it is different as only our American friends released them: GT, Rhino, etc.

Hi Luca,

I often purchase from Hannants and Aviationmegastore... which wheels are better IYHO, Ed.Brassin or Def.Model?

Both seem excellent... Def tires seem bulged... I can't see if Brassin ones are bulged, too.

cheers

I would take the Brassin ones as the bulge on the actual Phantom tires is more fantasy than reality! If you make a fully loaded plane, sand a little bit the tire bottom and this will be Ok.

GBU-10C (Paveway II) on the Casper... reliable weapons?  :hmmm:

I have 2 from Tac Scale Dynamics... unfortunately nobody makes the GBU-A/B (Paveway I) version in 1/32 scale (I found only the old Cutting Edge but they are OOP for a loooong time)

There are Paveway I LGB in the Hasegawa F-16 kits. The Paveway II appeared after the Vietnam war.

I discussed recently with Harold the release of the very early LGB types.

thanks Thierry. Replacing tail wings could be a solution? Or is the whole aft section different?

The tail wings were indeed different: fixed ones on the I but folding ones on the II.

I forgot adding that the rear body was also different: more squarish on the I and more streamlined on the II.

Well, these are seventies parts, so you will not get the holy grail but at least this is a good starting point and as far as I know we have currently not better option.
