Very nice shots of USMC F-35B

Nice photos. I suspect that I'm going to grow to like this plane.

Me too K2.

It already is....................a bit. I (like a LOT of people) kinda thought it was a misguided and overpriced master for a billion dollar paper weight...........and still might be, but after talking to so many of the pilots who fly them about it, and seeing one close up it is indeed growing on me a bit, and Im getting some actual hope they they have worked the major bugs out.

The gear and overall look of the plane on the ground is MUCH better IMHO than the F-22 it was setting next to as well.

As a former Marine I absolutely love the Harrier and remember watching in amazement at MCAS EL Toro long ago when the AV-8A was brought into service long before I was a Marine. I have seen Harriers take off and land until I was cross eyed and watching the F-35B do so is a complete joy. I hope they will come to perform well in the skies also....

I think Id buy an F-35 in 32nd for the same reasons I buy a Wessex in 32nd..................just ugly enough to be cool, and just cool and different enough to be ugly.

Could eventually be some cool options........................

You know what though Brian, when the F-35B is on the ground with all those doors and bays open thats super detailing goodness!!

Well, if any 32nd kit of a Brit one is released, I'll get one, but I can't say it is a design I have warmed to, not yet, anyway! The Hornet was the the last US type I actually liked, but I am passing on one for the collection as there is no Brit connection.  Now, the F23 I thought was spectacularly beautiful!
