Girlscanplay2
Hi Guys! Because of the nagging I got from LSP Paul and Ernie (Clunkmeister) to get me into this group build , I decided to join in with you all once again! All kidding aside: Ernie (Clunkmeister) went and got me the Generous Gift of this F-84 Thunderjet model that I received in the mail today, Thank you so much Ernie !!!! On top of that when I actually saw the Hobby Boss F-84G model, it is just a Beautiful detailed Kit !!! How could I resist. I am also looking forward to get the Resin Cockpit from Harold (AMS Resin). I haven't decided on the markings just yet. I am going to have so much fun! Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to playing once again!! Martinnfb
Awesome, I am so excited to see you back Teresa . Also your (Ernie's) choice of subject is super cool, my favorite as well. I am finding it so amazing that you guys are sharing the bench together . And one more thing, Ernie is a Gentleman, in the true sense of the meaning of this word, he is one of those people that gives me hope and faith for the future with the reassurance that human decency, compassion and integrity are still alive. I salute him for that. No BS, I mean it. Cheers M.
marauderdriver
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL-RIGHT TERESA!!!!!! Great Kit if the decals are anything lke the E kit they are GREAT.. Markings on the book are in the kit "Fruit Stripe" Just separate the decals on the sides around the red and yellow outlines so they will all line up with the vents and stuff. You outa FOIL it and drive Paul NUTS, he thinks you can paint a nmf, but he's wrong. Mark 31 , Out2gtcha (Brian) and ME will guide you thru and make him jealous This is an AWESOME KIT!!!!!! Girlscanplay2
Bring it on, Teresa, if it's half as good as that MiG you hammered out, it's going to be spectacular! Oh, and don't forget about the speedbrake. The kit has the F-84E speedbrake, where the F-84E has the F-84G speedbrake.. Trumpetboss had a brain fart... oops! Thanks Ernie, I did not know that....hummmmm??? Thanks for the nice compliment !! I will do what I can. I have been battling the flu this week, so not up to breathing in the great smells of paint and plastic dust just yet, but I will soon Teresa

Yes we share a bench...kind of Just got to keep him on his side of the bench It is nice that Paul can answer my questions, and of course my goal is to get on his nerves He's a great source of encouragement to me really. He is my in home cheer leader. I agree with everything you said about Ernie!! Thank you for looking in, I look forward to the pictures you always come up with. Teresa PS: My heart is still with my T-33 to finish it up, AND I WILL!!! I will finish it up right after this one, I just hate to leave a model undone, I really like to work on them one at a time, and get it completed... Hummm maybe I can work on two at a time.. I don't know if I have the guts to do it, but I will think hard about it once I get there If I do try the foil method I will sure turn to you guys that have/are doing it to get advice/instruction. I really love the way it looks but I have never attempted it. Thanks for looking in, I am sure I will have questions as I to along! Girlscanplay2
Yes, foil it. Paul won't sleep for decades. Actually Ernie Paul mentioned it to me some time ago, so I know he would support it, and I have some buddies on here that I can learn from as well.. I am a lucky girl ! Thank you so much again for this kit!! my friend!!! The instructions it came with are great, and it looks like from looking at it that it will really fit together as well. I was impressed with the lack of flashing on parts that I see on some other kits I've seen. So clean up should be a breeze! Teresa
