LSP_K2
Here's one scheme that is OK, but I intend to keep looking. (Scanned from this Histoire & Collections book.) Gazzas
LSP_K2
Starting to play with this kit some now and discovered this last night, a complete engine! I seldom run across 1:48 kits with a complete engine, so was somewhat surprised to realize this is one such kit. Pretty cool. LSP_K2
Quite a cool surprise here. While I was expecting a small package from Shawn, this also showed up, another plane to be sacrificed to the ceiling; too cool. Thanks a bunch, Shawn, you're a good man. LSP_K2
My roommate decided he'd probably never get around to this one, so gave it to me for this never ending project. MikeC
LSP_K2
Keeping in mind that for this project, less is more, I've spritzed the 'pit with what I think is an OK green color. Now I'll seal up the fuselage and prepare it for painting. mustang1989, Greg W, Out2gtcha and 2 others
LSP_K2
It’s an utterly gorgeous day here today, so I took full advantage, sitting on the deck, prepping the fuselage of the Spitfire for painting. LSP_K2
The probable scheme for the Spitfire. I really wanted to do dark green and gray topsides, but apparently only later Spitfires were so painted. Gazzas, mustang1989 and Greg W
LSP_K2
Wing segments were a really bad fit, but I finally wrestled them into an OK position (not yet glued to fuselage here). mustang1989, Gazzas, MikeC and 2 others
Gazzas
I really prefer the green and earth to the green and gray. LSP_K2

LSP_K2
Wing fit is pretty lousy, so some surfacer has been smeared on to fill the voids. Greg W
ssculptor
"... if you pick the right kit (and keep the right attitude!), they can be a whole bunch o' fun." That statement describes my modeling attitude right 'n proper. If what I am doing is not a whole lot of fun why do it? Stephen LSP_K2
LSP_K2
Now this is just outstanding. I had been under the impression that I'd lost all four of these kits several years back, and just discovered them tonight. All four of these are in very little need of anything added, save for propellers and dull coat, so I should be able to get all four done in no time at all. I'm working my backside off, cleaning and organizing the entire basement here (long overdue), and am finding all manner of cool stuff. mustang1989, LSP_Kevin, coogrfan and 2 others
