LSP_Kevin
This is actually my most recently completed build. I received this kit basically for nothing as part of a deceased estate sale. Having built one before, I can't say I was too excited about it. However, upon looking inside the box, I found an old Missing Link FM-2 conversion set, and though it was almost as basic as the kit itself, my interest was piqued. Here's what I started with: So, I set about trying to turn this old clunker into an acceptable FM-2. The Monogram kit dates back to 1961, and is very basic indeed. Here's a few select in-progress shots.

LSP_Kevin
And the final result: A lot more work went into this than it seems here, so I'm pretty proud of it, despite its wobbly bits. It's fired me up to do this conversion in 1/32, and also to visit this kind of butchery on some of my other 1/48 kits! Thanks for looking.
