Dave Williams
I've tried the Olfa Circle cutter and didn't care for it. One the one I used, you grabbed the center knob and spun it, with the blade at the end of the arm doing the cutting. But there was no way to put pressure above the blade. Many times I would twirl it, and find that it wouldn't cut all the way through all the way around, partially because I would tend to tilt the tool while spinning it. With the shadow cutter, the blade is spring loaded, so it puts constant positive pressure on the blade so it always cuts. Also, because of the design, you can't tilt it, and it's relativey heavy so it doesn't slide around. I just get a constant clean cut with one or two spins.
