Vandy 1 VX 4
Very beautiful, I too had the idea of the Bavarian checkers, one single row across the tail. But yours blows my idea out of the water Plus you actually built the kit Thanks for posting. You made my morning
RNoAF
Did this ac even fly with engines or just as a glider?
scvrobeson
Man, I'd really like my "not the best effort" to be at this level. Really like the build, and the imaginative paint job. The Bavarian checks look really nice on the Horten. I assume this will be in the future article, but what paint did you use for the exterior? JamesHatch
I used Gunze paints for the exterior and blue checks. The white checks are Tamiya Flat, with Klear sealing it before masking up. This one will be in Military Illustrated Modeller, out in 2 to 3 weeks. Glad you like it folks. Such a cool kit. scvrobeson
Wolf Buddee
What a brilliant piece of work James! Always wanted one of these kits but just never had the opportunity to get one. Damn that looks nice and a super detailer's dream too. Such a cool subject. Cheers, Wolf

Breaker
Excellent paint finish. The 'wave' on the wing must of taken some patience to mask.
