Thanks guys for you kind words, Matt i use Micro Sol for the decals, i wet the surface with the liquid then apply the decal, then i wet the decal with micro sol again let it dry then apply the liquid several times till it looks like paint, after that i use tamiya weathering white over the decal to reduce the contrast of the color and to make it look like faded paint and not the glossy look of the decal.

 

Somnas, i dont seal the aluminum powder at all, if you seal the surface you will loose much of the metal look over the plastic

Old thread, but what was used for the Zinc Chromate? I was always under the impression that the Sabre wheel wells and the inside of the air brakes were interior green, or have I lost the plot?
