Daniel460
Really neat build Ron. That is a big model..... Was looking at the truck/launcher set on SB yesterday, have to pass it up for the moment. Dan
alaninaustria
Ron, are you getting any closer to becoming a missile capable super power? Cheers Alan
LSP_Ron
I'm afraid not, been skiing in the US the last four days and no free time. LSP_K2
LSP_Ron
Well I have an all white V2 now. Time for a lot of masking!! LSP_K2
LSP_Ron
All white. Now I have several hours of masking to fill in the black checker board scheme. This is an extremely easy build but it's sure big! LSP_K2, Rick Griewski, Fooesboy and 4 others
Guest Peterpools
Ron Glad to see you're enjoying the build and the V2 sure is big. Looking forward to the next stage of masking and painting Keep 'em coming Peter
CANicoll
Ron, Very cool subject and looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I'e been to the NASM and seen this rocket and I'm amazed at how 'rough' the surface is - hardly a smooth line on the entire rocket. Hang in there Kevin - love to see the work you are doing on that truck! I'll post some pics in the Non-LSP category later today on the 1/72 Hellcat. THEN I got to get started on the next build... LSP_K2
Cool project, Ron, and that B-25 looks excellent.
LSP_Ron
All done, this is a quick build but a nice kit overall. I think it took longer to paint and mask then it did to build. Not a lot to it but it certainly stands out on the shelf. I am not sure how one would weather a rocket so I am not bothering. CANicoll
Ron, That looks very cool. The black and white scheme is interesting and I've seen the period pictures that way. Neat subject! Chris.
Gazzas
Great build! As they didn't have a long service life, I can't imagine weathering one. On film, you can see a lot of ripples in the metal skin. But I can't imagine trying to do that without ruining it. Gaz
