What else do I need for Revell's 1/32 Bf109G6 RV 04665?

With the sale of Revell, and the fact that I just realised I have a little 1/32 AM, I've decided to take the plunge and do an all-out Revell G6 build.  I know...  maybe I'm crazy.

So far in my cart I have:

The Quickboost Intake.

The Eduard bronze undercarriage legs

The Eduard G6 wheels

The Quickboost Exhaust.

That's 100 buckaroos right there...

Do I need more?

Then I probably shouldn't tell you to take a look at Barracudacast......

You swine! I was going to post lots of links to AM stuff that will drain Gazzas wallet, then I found this!:

I DO NOT need that part, I can do a good job modifying the WNW parts, can't I?!??!?!?    :frantic:

Damn...

The cowl Beule are actually the biggest gaff on the kit and need to be replaced, Quickboost and BarracudaCast make replacements. The spacing for the MG 131s in the cowl is incorrect too, not as noticeable though, Alley Cat makes a replacement. The kit spinner is nothing to write home about either, recommend BarracudaCast or AMUR Reaver.

Now I'm all confused.  I don't like the Hase kit because of it's Beulen.  I don't know much about Trumpy but it's most likely got rubber wheels.  And I'm not really the kind of guy to measure unless my eyeball waves the red flag.  So Revell's Beulen are botched, too?

And Richard, thanks for those Alby parts.  I think I won't need them as I was happy to use tape the last time.  Next time I'm gonna try cigarette paper.

I have the AMUR resin nose for the Revell but I'm doing a G-5 from my kit so needed it anyway. It's a superb casting and highly recommended for both versions, G-5 and G-6 types. I went a bit nuts and got the Eduard Brassin Cockpit which is a G-6 but all I really need to do is delete the cockpit wall air vents, Barracuda cast Prop and underwing gun gondolas, I got the wing top halves too whilst I was at it, Brassin wheels, gear legs and exhausts. I turned a £20 kit into a £100 one (outlay, not outcome, it will still look like a child slapped it together). It's a sickness. But I'll likely have to do the same for the £20 Revell Spitfire II in corrective parts.

Unfortunately, the Revell isn't a 20$ kit here in Australia.  For the last eternity  I've been scanning Ebay looking for a cheap one, but it looks like the best I can do is to buy one from BNA Model World.  And they have a shipload of AM to go with it.  So...I can expect it to arrive in one day.  I'm up to 149.20AU plus the MG 131 barrels and Pitot Tube I have already.

Added to the original list are the Eduard cockpit set which is $20 off it's normal price...  And Eduard seat belts.

OK...I did it.  The monstrosity is now three times the kit's retail price.  I didn't get wheel wells, Beulen, nor PE detail sets.   But now I get free shipping.

BNA will dispatch it tomorrow and I'll have it by Friday.

Hmmmm...

Now, I need a pilot to memorialize.  Anybody got a favorite who isn't named Hartmann, Barkhorn, or Graf?  Heinz Knoke is a personal fave, but I already have decals for him in 1/48.

Eagle Editions has marking for Alfred Surau's machine, but you will need a set of gun pods...
