Harold Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 One our very own LSPers, Dennis7423 has graciously loaned me his 1/24 Typhoon wheels. The kit seems to be a very good one, but the wheels needed a little AMS TLC. They are nearly finished. Just a few small blems to correct. The tires are another story, but it looks like you're doing a nice job of it. (I'd still like to see the raised ribs thouigh. ) LSP_Ron sent me some photos of the Typhoon at Hendon that he didn't include in the walk around, if you're interested, (and with his permission of course). That would be very nice. I will add them to my ref folder for it. There is a good restoration site i found. If I find it again I will link it. Yes, the ribs would be the finishing touch, I just don't how to do something like that. The kit tires aren't round, so a lathe wouldn't help. Hmm, let me think....
