It is indeed. Shipping kills the deal for me on this side of the Atlantic however. To be expected on a box of that size and weight though.

For what it's worth, I picked one of these up not too long ago, and it comes with the glass nose as well. So, you have the option of both J models. If you really hate clear fuselage halves, you can pick up a parted out kit's fuselage halves on eBay for a fairly reasonable price. More than one way to skin a cat.

 

It really is a darn good deal.

I've bought so many models in the past couple of weeks that I can't justify getting it now, even with a great price.  Oh, well

I have a glass nose in the past, and traded it for a couple of Wingnuts, however I have regretted that decision, so I ordered one last night. Having both versions in the box sealed the deal for me.

It really is a nice building kit, even for its enormous size (just not compared to a 32nd Consolidated Mess!) and goes together pretty nicely IMHO.   Just make sure to get some G-Factor gear, some AM props, and if it bothers you like it did me, open up the super small cowl openings.

I do actually want to build one of these one day, with one side clear and one side painted, like the old Monogram "Visible B-17", with a super detailed interior and crew figures.  That day may be 10 years from now, but. ..
